Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to manage the full employee life-cycle in a fast-paced, blue-collar environment. This is a standalone HR role that reports directly to the General Manager and offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact on our company culture and team.

Job Duties

• Full-cycle recruitment (job postings, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offers) for field crew, equipment operators, foremen, and office roles
• Onboarding and orientation for all new hires
• Maintaining employee files and HRIS records
• Policy development, handbook updates, and ensuring compliance with Ontario ESA, OHSA, etc.
• Employee relations – coaching supervisors, handling questions, investigations, and performance management
• Supporting health & safety initiatives and training coordination
• Assisting with labour relations.
• General office support and special projects as needed.
